We are running both GriefPrevention and LWC. GriefPrevention is the default for new players but users who are familiar with LWC and/or prefer LWC can protect their builds with LWC instead. And if those fail, CoreProtect rollback to the rescue!

New spawn is being built and until then, the main survival world spawn will be kept as "safezone".
