DerpCraftia is a fun, easy-going server that strives to satisfy both creative and survival players. It is not running in online mode, so if you have not purchased Minecraft, feel free to join. Our staff is carefully chosen, so the chances of a staff member abusing powers is very small. We have been very successful in combating griefers, and are currently winning the War Against Griefers, with 6 plugins to prevent griefing. We are very new, but so far many of the players who have tried DerpCraftia love it and are becoming regular players. The server owner is not your average Minecraft server owning child. The owner has hosted over 6 servers for other games, all with successful, thriving communities. Our community is really something to be proud of. You can often see players working together to build something new, or repair something that got destroyed in an accident with lava or fire. There is currently no whitelist, but if griefing begins, one will be added.

Our Current Anti-Grief Plugins:

CreeperHeal - If griefing does happen, this will repair the damage so you don't have to!
iZone - Allows Staff to protect your creations so no one else can touch them.
GriefAlert - Alerts Admin when a block is destroyed, or when TNT, lava, water, etc. is used so there's no who-did-what.
IllegalName - Prevents people from logging on with no username/characters that wouldn't normally be allowed in a username.
PermissionsEx - Allows Admin to set permissions for commands so griefers can't just delete the protected areas created with iZone.
ModifyWorld - Allows Admin to set permissions for who can modify the world and who can't.

Other Current Plugins:

SimpleGold - Adds a simple currency and allows shops. (Our currency is gold ingots.)
DimensionDoor - Allows multiple dimensions and teleporting to them. (All we have right now is a pixelart dimension, more will be added upon request.)
eTeleport - Allows you to use /warplist and /warp to teleport to places.
SpawnMob - Allows Admin to spawn mobs, such as Giants.
MonsterBox - Allows Admin to place mob spawners and change what they spawn.
HomeSpawnPlus - Allows Admin to change the default spawn points and also allows players to set their home by right clicking on beds.

Our C3 Channel:

C3 is a group speak software, much like TeamSpeak. The only reason we use that instead of TeamSpeak is because you don't have to download a separate file to host the server and it is much easier to use. You can download C3 here:

Commands to Know:

/warplist - Gives you a list of places you can warp to.
/warp (warp name) - Teleports you to a warp point.
/dd list - Gives you a list of dimensions you can teleport to.
/dd teleport (dimension name) - Allows you to teleport to different dimensions.

Ranks:

Default - Cannot build or modify anything. Recently joined, speak to a staff member to receive Member rank.
Member - Normal players, able to build freely.
Trusted - Members who have played a while and have shown to have good intentions.
VIP - Members who have donated or have been very helpful, but have not yet been accepted as staff.
Moderator - The only staff rank a player can be given. These players have been very active and helpful. They are very trusted.
Admin - Currently only the owner of the server.

FAQ:

Q: How do I get out of the spawn?

A: Ask a fellow player to release you using the lever outside the door.

Q: Why can't I break/build anything?

A: You must currently be promoted to Member rank in-game to modify anything. This is a precaution against griefing. Ask a staff member to promote you.

Q: Can I be a staff member?

A: We do not accept players who have recently joined as staff. You must play a while and prove you are worthy before we will even consider it. After that, the staff will discuss the possibility.

Q: Where can I build?

A: Anywhere, really. Just do /warp build and find a spot that isn't already protected. If you want to build pixel art, do /dd teleport pixelart to go to the Pixel Art dimension.

Q: How do I get my buildings protected?

A: Ask a staff member to protect it for you. If there are none online, wait for one. If griefing occurs, do not worry. It will be repaired by CreeperHeal after a few seconds. Report it to a staff member and the griefer will be banned.

Q: How do I get Creative Mode?

A: Ask a staff member to change it for you.
