It is November 27th, 1095 A.D. His Holiness, Pope Urban II, has called all of Christendom to take up arms and retake the Holy City, Jerusalem. Nations all around answered the call, taking up arms to fight for their God, and for the glory brought from it. Thousands gathered to fight under one banner, the Holy Catholic Church.
However, all were not fond of this call to arms
Those of the Islamic Faith would not go down without a fight. They would prepare their defenses, and fight back the Crusading forces under their God. They are familiar with their territory and boast highly mobile forces, a strong advantage for their defense.
The Simple Question Remains: Who do you fight for?
Provenance is an Historical Roleplay server, currently set at the beginning of the First Crusade in 1095. We are a Staff made up of experienced Roleplayers and Administrators, looking to create both an immersive Roleplay experience, and a strong Pvp experience.
We are currently in the process of building our map, updating the server, and giving the server a massive overhaul in its appearance. To join us please follow the link to our website, and sign up. This will allow you to watch our progress on the new map, view old Roleplay from our previous map, and interact with the Provenance Community!
