The battle tower types are flying ice and dragon lvls 10 to 30 40 to 60 70 to 80. Each time you win a tower you will get a item or a tm the higher the battle tower the better the item. the gyms are always open as each gym leader has every gymleaders pokemon this prevents people waiting for gym battles.
