Welcome to Reviving Kingdoms!
We are a new 1.9 vanilla server, no whitelist, with focus on roleplay, survival, and a general good time.

Create a character for yourself here, will you be a humble farmer, a sneaky merchant, or a new King? The choice is yours!
Join the main kingdom, Avalon, and help it grow! Or start your own kingdom, and rise in power!

Server Rules:
-No cheating, hacking, or x-ray resource packs.
-Do not have anything that will cause lag. (Large redstone machines, overcrowded animal pens, etc)
-Be respectful, don't cause drama!
-Don't meta-game, power-game, and do not have a "mary-sue" type character!
-DarlingDucky has the final say.

Character Guide:
-Characters should be original.
-Characters should fit in a medieval setting. Skins should try to match.
-If you wish to have a new character, you must find a reason why your first character is no longer available. (Be it death, a journey, or has simply gone missing.)
-Characters should not be too powerful, or perfect. Make sure they have flaws!
-Above all, make a character you would enjoy playing as!

Server Guide:
-Main currency is Iron and Gold ingots, but players can barter as well.
-New kingdoms must get permission to be created first from the owner, DarlingDucky. See Kingdom Guide for more info.
-Use /tell to speak OOC!
-The server is vanilla, and will remain so until other options are available and requested.
-You must be a part of a kingdom, whether you live at it's actual location, or an outpost. However, you do not have to stay at a kingdom if you do not wish to.

Kingdom Guide:
-Permission must be granted for a new kingdom to be founded, and at least two other players must want to be a part of it.
-Kingdoms may set their own rules, but must have the following within one IRL week: A postal office, a library/records hall, a food source, a function serving public feature(Such as a public mine, an inn, a pub, etc), a jail, and housing.
-If two kingdoms see any valid reason to go to war, they may. See the War Guide for more information.
-Kingdoms may have outposts, but a sufficient path must be made between the kingdom and it's outpost.
-Exceptions may be made if acceptable reasons are given.

War Guide:
-Should a kingdom ever feel the need to go to war, a valid reason must be given. Examples are: Land/resource disputes, assassination (or the attempts thereof), and a want of power.
-Both kingdoms must confirm either side's declaration of war to start. If not, then the declaring kingdom must wait 3 IRL days to attack, and the denying kingdom has the same amount of time to move, or settle the differences otherwise.
-If both sides agreed to war, then the war may begin. Two citizens from each kingdom must be online for a war to occur. In wartime, the followed is allowed, regardless of a kingdom's rules; Minimal griefing, raiding, and murder.
-The war's winner is decided when a kingdom surrenders. The losing kingdom must give the winning kingdom everything they sought at the time of the war's declaration.
-To declare a war, the declaring kingdom must make it publicly known that they wish to wage war. They must also list their reasons for declaring, as well as what they wish to gain. (Such as the opposing kingdom's land, resources, or etc).
