If the pile of bedrock at spawn isn't a hint then let me explain that Sweet Lucky Blocks is a modded, semi-anarchy Minecraft server that revolves around getting OP gear and prizes from Lucky Blocks. Where do you get Lucky Blocks? From mining ores! Then break them open for crazy results.
Currently the server offers the following mods:
- Land Claims, so you can keep your loot stash safe (claims expire if abandoned)
- Ender Dragon drops Elytra
- Shulkers Respawn
- Skip Night if Most Players are Sleeping
- Anti-Cheat (but some bypasses are possible)
- Lucky Blocks

We have lucky blocks, mine and ore and you get a lucky block, mine that block for rewards.
Rewards can be from dirt through to godlike tools, 1 hit kill swords, super fortune picks etc.
It is very easy to amass a lot of stuff just for mining something like coal (and that's a lot of coal for you too).
We also have griefprevention installed, which means that you can claim an area to prevent it being griefed, your stuff cannot be stolen.
Kind of weird for an anarchy server with no rules but I like the twist.
I have added some spawners (from the lucky blocks) at spawn to give new players some food for their journey, using /rtp takes you far enough away to start walking. if your in need of help with gear just ask nicely when I am on as I have lots to spare. Although I can understand those that want to do it all on their own - I did to start.
The server is very stable and it has never had any serious downtime worth remembering.
What it needs is a few more players that want to come on and build stuff, make mapart and big builds etc.
So come no, give it a try and if you find that it's not for you simply use /abandonall to let your claimed land be reused.

Using the lucky blocks obtained through mining ores from coal to diamond etc. I have excellent tools and armour, enough gear to keep me going and can usually help new starters out with a kit.
The world map is basically survival with perks.
The picture above is my base which has since got a lot bigger.
I have iron/gold/wool/wheat/meat farms and look to build more.
Nether roof access is enabled but apart from gold farms what's the point of going far?
Come and try it out, if you build a base you can protect it with claims through grief prevention and then others cannot come and steal your stuff :)
