NOTE: If you enjoy playing on our server donating would be hugely appreciated as we are not sure how long the server can stay up on our money alone. 

NOTE: The server is in it's early stages so it's a possibility there will be a variety of bugs and issues. Please report any to us if you encounter them, you will be rewarded! 

NOTE: As of late we have unfortunately had to ban a few items from the Balkon's Weapon mod - the Battleaxe, Dynamite and the Cannon. This was done because all of these items can be used to damage players in spawn and break spawn blocks. Rifts (of Dimensional Doors) are now unable to spawn naturally in the world, do not eat blocks and the rift blade has been nerfed but is still attainable. This was done for the safety of the world. 

About Us
Tekkit Australia is run by a group of friends who wanted a high quality, no lag multiplayer Tekkit experience. Upon searching for Australian Tekkit servers we were faced with only a few options. There were only 2 servers that ran the Tekkit modpack in our country, one never had any players online and we all encountered such large amounts of lag on the other that we deemed it unplayable. 

Everybody was about to call it quits until the idea was sparked to create our own Tekkit server and open it up to the public and here we are! We aim to provide exactly what we were searching for in a server - a high quality, no lag multiplayer Tekkit experience for Australian players. While we cater for Australians we welcome people from all over the world as well!

Rules
- PvP, griefing and raiding are allowed!
- Swearing is allowed, try to keep it to a minimum.
- Excessive use of caps in chat is not allowed.
- Treat staff with respect and they will return the favour.
- DDoS threats or evidence of DDoS attacks will result in a permanent ban.
- Evidence of hacks will result in permanent ban.
- Spawn camping is not allowed.
- Discrimination of any kind is not allowed.
- Abusing any exploits is not allowed, report them to staff instead for a reward.

Staff
As a player you can expect staff to treat you with respect, patience and friendliness. If you feel that any members of staff have failed to do so don't be afraid to send in a complaint to our PMC inbox or email address. If you are experiencing any trouble whatsoever in-game just /msg a staff member (we'll be on the server as much as we can!) and we'll try our best to help you. There are currently 3 staff positions on the server and 6 people spread among them. In-game Shop and Currency System
In order to prevent any major exploits of our in-game shop item prices are based off their EMC (Energy Matter Currency) value in the Equivalent Exchange mod. An item's EMC value can be found by pressing shift while hovering your cursor over an item in your inventory or the Too Many Items directory. What this means is $20 is equal to an EMC value of 20, this keeps things simple. You can buy items for their exact EMC value and sell them for roughly 90% of their EMC value. Our shop uses the buy and sell signs that come with the Essentials plugin. You are able to buy and sell items in the shop by right clicking the item's corresponding sign. Each shop sign has 4 lines, their meanings are explained below.

Line 1: Type of sign (buy/sell)
Line 2: Number of items being bought/sold
Line 3: ID of the item being bought/sold
Line 4: Price (Amount of money you will lose for buying an item or gain for selling one)

NOTE: Some items with an EMC value of 1 have different prices in the shop, determined by how difficult the item is to obtain. 

Trade Plaza
Some items have no EMC value at all, which is why we are currently working on a trade plaza. Here, players will be able to utilize the Vending mod to trade items with each other.

Our server runs both Tekkit and Bukkit on the same server using something called MCPC+, meaning that as well as running all the mods part of the Tekkit modpack we are also able to run a variety of Bukkit plugins. Some noteworthy plugins are listed below.

Are you a gaming YouTuber or Graphic Designer? If so, we're in need of you! Contact us with links to your YouTube channel or past projects if you are interested in in-game perks (similar to the donor packages below) in return for advertisment and art. 

NOTE: Non-gaming channels and/or channels with few subscribers will be declined.

Ranks
As well as offering a variety of donor ranks (see below) we have also added a couple of ranks based on time played on the server! 'Regular' is awarded after 24 hours of in-game time and 'Trusted' is awarded after 120 hours.

Donor Packages
Donations are essential for almost any server to grow. We are able to allocate any money players give to our server towards upgrading our hosting plan and ensuring that the server stays up and running for longer. We don't expect many people to donate without hoping for something in return, which is why the server offers a small collection of packages available to people who donate to the server. A lot of time and effort has been put into the creation of these packages, which include rare and valuable items as well as access to a variety of helpful commands that give you an edge over regular members and kick-start your Tekkit adventure.
