Section 1: What kind of server?

Labeling it with one thing is hard, so I'll explain what I want it to become. Starting out, you will of course begin a very short tutorial (I hate them, so I'll keep it as short as possible) No tutorial, however we have a library to explain everything, we will have an (expensive) main portal hub, which will take you to any major areas, but for the less expensive version, you can use the rail system. These areas are the PvP arenas, the Marketplace, the Monster Pit, Building area, and a couple other ideas that will most likely pop in to my head at some point. 

Now for you PvPers out there, don't worry, world PvP will exist, I'm currently working out on how to go about it, but the arenas will not be the only form of PvP you have. I want cities, I want events I really want this server to take off and be something big.



Section 2: Staff.


Currently, we are seeking a few more staff members. I'll just make a list of what we need, and what they will do...


Moderator: Moderate the server, fix problems with players, if plugins begin to fail attempt reloads, kick/ban anybody breaking the rules. Pretty simple
Builder: Your role will be desired in spurts more often than anything else. You will make the server look good, constructing anything we need. (Warning: I will ask for pictures of your creations, I will only accept the best, sorry.)
Event Coordinator: You will help plan events, and lead them in many cases. 




Section 3: Alpha/Beta/Release.
Instead of the boring "This is Alpha 1.243953485" of the server, we will do ores. From beginning to end it will be the following..
- Dirt (Current state)
- Stone
- Iron
- Gold
- Emerald
- Diamond
- Obsidian


Section 4: Donations and services.
Now for this server to be properly taken care of, I will need help. Donations of course will help with that. Donations will give you benefits. One of these are keys and crates. Crates will be given in many many ways, drops, winning things, polls, and voting. You will never find it difficult to find crates. The keys however, are from donations. Donations of 5 dollars will give you 5 keys, donations of 10 dollars will give you 10 keys, and so on and so forth. I will work on more donation benefits, but for now that is the main concept.

Due to the new EULA, payments/donations are still being worked on. So far, this what we have in mind..
[THESE CAN ALL CHANGE AT ANY POINT]
- Paid Events, if one person donates 20 bucks to the server. Then we will immediately host a 24-hour long event. These events can give LARGE amounts of rewards. 
- While the idea of charging for people to get on the server is an option, I want to stay away from that idea so everybody can play no matter what.
- Cosmetic items like hats, or name colors can be paid for.

Section 5: Required work.
7/25/14 - A third PvP arena, monster pits, tutorial, portal hub, mob/plugin config, major city, proper schedule, more organized planning, world PvP, more PvE options, more constructions, paths from one place to another.

8/3/14 - Major city finish, more NPCs that sell items for gold nuggets, an email, world PvP, more PvE options, continue rail system, brainstorming event ideas and donations.


Section 6: Anything else.
That is about it for now. I will be creating a separate email for this so people can apply for staff positions more directly. For now however, simply apply on this thread. The server will NOT be on 24/7 yet until Iron Status, or Gold Status.
