Rules:
  • Don't grief! That should be obvious, griefing is intolerable. Simple as that.

  • Remember your place on the server, moderators are there for a reason, anything they do is part of their role on the server.

  • Don't be immature. It gets really annoying and everyone is just here to have fun. We're not expecting everyone to be robots, but you'll know if you're being annoying.

  • No glitching, hacking etc. We do have anti-cheat, but we know this doesn't stop everything, if we see people hacking and glitching we'll ban you.

  • Don't make extremely complicated redstone circuits that are intense on the CPU of the server, we want everyone to be able to enjoy playing the game without lag.

  • Keep the server tidy! If you're in the wilderness, don't just randomly build giant poles into the sky and leave them there, we want the world to look nice too!

  • Follow the rules for building set by your town leader if you're in a town.

  • If you are a town leader, don't enforce stupid rules like "I R TEH LEADER, DO WHATEVER I SAY" because we will just take your town from you if you've managed to get a town.

  • You must be promoted to Member before you can build or destroy.

------------------------------------------------------------------------
Beginners Guide:

Server Ranks:
  • Resident:: - The resident rank allows you to do everything you'll want to do to be able to play normally without being able to make a town. This means you'll be able to build as part of a town or in the wilderness if that's what you want.

  • Archon:: - This rank has all of the same permissions as the resident rank however it also allows you to create a town. Only certain people we deem fit to run a town will be able to use this rank
  • Moderator:: - Moderators are there to help everyone else out and ensure a smooth gameplay experience for you players! Moderators are there to help, but also to play too! Keep that in mind.

  • Admin:: - That would be me, I can do anything... deal with it! I'm also here to help though, if there is a problem a moderator can't solve then I'll try my best to help out with the extra things they may need to deal with a problem.
I'd like to note at this point our terms for asking for moderator privileges, creative mode or any other extra power. Generally, if you ask for it, you won't get it; simply because you asked for it. A lot of people come to Minecraft servers expecting the server admins to let anyone be a moderator, god knows why, but on most servers and including this one, it is not the case.

If I'm choosing a moderator then I will choose them based off of how they are acting on the server, how they communicate and after observing their knowledge and willingness to help other people on the server. This will be taken notice of and the moderating team and myself will be keeping an eye out for people who fit this description and then we will ask them to submit an application in a private message to me on here and I will discuss it with the other moderators.

Jobs and Money:
One of the most important parts of the server is getting money! You'll always want money! Money will allow you to buy plots of land inside towns and also buy items from the shop in-game.

To get started with jobs, type "/jobs list" and you'll be presented with a list of jobs available to you. The jobs list also makes it pretty self explanatory as to what to do. If you want information about a specific job type "/jobs " This will allow you to see if you're currently in that job, the payment you receive and what you can do to get paid! When you want to join a job it's"/jobs join ". Then all you have to do is start doing your job to get money.

To check your current balance use "/money" or"/eco" or "/balance".

Towns:
We use Towny on our server to control protection for land and add something extra to strive for in the game. Towny will allow players to join a town of their choice and then make a home in that town. Your land in your town is yours to build on, however; remember that your Archon may have set some rules for building and styles for their town. Keep these in mind or you might get kicked of their town!

Towny is a fairly complicated little plugin and we recommend checking out their wiki page for the extra commands because there is a LOT you can do with it. Most of the things you need to know are just buying and selling land. Town owners will help you out when you want to buy land however, here are the commands:

(NOTE: You must be in a town before you can use these features, you must also be a resident or higher rank...)

Buying Land:
When stood in the plot you want to buy type "/plot claim". You must ensure you have enough money to purchase the plot you want to buy. The prices for the plots are managed by the owner of the town OR the previous owner of the plot (if there was one).
Selling Land:
When stood in a plot that you own and want to sell type "/plot fs " for example to sell a plot for $2000 you would type"/plot fs 2000". If you've changed your mind and don't want to sell your plot then you can type "/plot nfs" to take it off sale.
Other Commands:
As a resident or an Archon it's important to know all that you can do. If you want to look at a full reference for Towny's commands then take a look here:http://code.google.c...y/wiki/Commands

Warps:
This one is pretty simple, to see a list of available warps, type "/warp". Then simply type "/warp " and you'll be warped to the chosen location!
