VSMP is a Forge 1.20.1 survival server built around Compound V - a mod based on the popular Amazon TV show, The Boys. Depending on what players end up with, the way they play shifts considerably. The rest of the pack is built around making that interesting long-term.



The owner is based in Australia, but the server is hosted on the east coast of the US, and we've got admins available most times of the day. EVERYONE IS WELCOME!
The only people not welcome are those who would seek to make it unwelcoming for others.
COMPOUND V


The centrepiece. Players inject the serum and gain powers - different injections give different abilities, and that variability shapes how everyone approaches the rest of the pack. Compound V: Gone Viral is also installed, which adds a spread mechanic that changes the dynamic considerably once there are enough players on the server. If you're familiar with what that mod does, you already know what that means.
CREATE


Base Create plus a large ecosystem of addons covering most of what you'd want:


- Trains - Create: New Age, Steam 'n' Rails, Trains on Trains
- Power - Create: Nuclear, Diesel Generators, Ethium
- Movement - Create: Jetpack, Ender Transmission
- Production - Create: Factory, Ultimate Factory, Crushing addons, Ore Excavation, Sifter, Slice and Dice
- Decoration and QoL - Create Deco, Create Goggles, Create Casing, CreateBB, and more


There's enough here to build something genuinely impressive, or to weaponise it entirely, depending on your priorities.
WORLD GEN


Oh The Biomes We've Gone, Regions Unexplored, Aex's Calves, The Outer End, and many structure generation mods. The world is actually worth exploring, and there's enough variety that it holds up over time.
COMBAT


Ars Nouveau for magic, Cataclysm bosses for major combat encounters, and Artifacts for loot-based progression on top of the power system. And Compound V, of course. Combat has weight to it.
FOOD


Farmer's Delight with a solid spread of addons - Brewin' and Chewin', Gourmet, Create: Food, Create: Café, Create: Central Kitchen, Fungal Delight, Garnished, Large Meals. More fleshed out than most packs bother with.
STORAGE


Sophisticated Backpacks, Sophisticated Storage, Storage Drawers, Tom's Storage. You won't be drowning in items.
EVERYTHING ELSE


A range of mods rounding out the experience: Alex's Mobs and Caves for creatures and exploration, Waystones and TPA for travel, Jade and JEI for information, Simple Voice Chat, Veinmining, Gravestones, and a full suite of QoL and decoration mods. The pack is designed to play well, not just look good on a feature list.
