Overview
WEWF is an Earth server running Towny with a variety of custom features suited towards creating more variety between world regions and thus more reasons to travel, trade, war and more! WEWF has over 50 custom crops limited to regions/biomes all over the world, from Maple trees in Canada to black pepper in India. These crops are implemented in expanded foods and are also used in recipes for the popular Brewery plugin which allows you to ferment, distill and age alcoholic (or non-alcoholic) drinks. Get true Tequila from the heart of Mexico, or the finest Champagne from France - or just sit down with a hot bowl of Pho in Vietnam.
Looking for a more sophisticated form of work? Use /survey to survey the lands for valuable minerals. Scoop them up and process them in the appropriate machinery for market-ready materials such as gasoline or fertilizer! Or just invest in a bank, set competitive exchange rates and sit back and count your money!
Features
- Custom, regional crops such as barley, hops, onions, garlic, grapes, oranges, corn, black pepper, coffee and much, much more. Make meaningful trade agreements with foreign states, become a bonafide traveling merchant, or establish farms, vineyards, orchards and more.
- Custom, regional fish such as Bluefin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Largemouth Bass, Golden Perch, Corvina, Amberjack, Catfish and more! Go on a good old fashioned fishing trip or just make a living selling your daily catch on the market! Sushi included!
- Custom foods and Brewery for alcohol brewing with regional crops, to give greater purpose to trade and regions. Become a cheesemonger or just produce the finest Champagne in France.
- Custom minerals: custom minerals can be mined from different regions around the world. Corner the market on lead & copper and become an arms dealer or become an oil baron!
- Chemistry: chemistry machines can be used to process different materials into other, more useful materials. Gasoline required!
- Guns: Guns and ammunition crafted from regional minerals. Become Nicolas Cage in Lord of War!
- /Sell easily for income: Players can use /sell to sell a number of vanilla items, as well as regional crops, to the server for money. These items are somewhat restricted to leave space for player-driven markets, but there is a wide variety of ways to generate income: farming, mining, fishing, ranching, and so on!
- /Buy extra improvements and abilities: Spend that money trading on player markets, or use it in /buy to purchase things like building blocks, McMMO classes, banks, shops, and more!
- Banks: Invest your money in establishing a bank, giving you a premium rate to sell gold to the server at and giving you the power to buy/sell gold to players at configurable rates!
- Restaurants: Invest your money in a restaurant and make money filling randomized orders of custom foods!
- Player-owned shops: Players can trade with one another through player-owned shopkeeper NPCs that themselves can be made available for hire to other players.

My one gripe is that the discord verification does not work. Even though I'm putting in the correct command (/dverify<discord username>####), it doesn't recognize it. I've been told that this is an error that has happened before, and the main person who is able to fix it is on a break right now. I mean, it's fine if I'm not on the discord, but I feel like it would help me a bit more than typing in the ingame chat and getting killed by a random mob while doing so.
Other than that, it's nice! I found the area I grew up in, and have made my humble lil' town there. Very fun so far!
