Gazing upon a new audience, I begin my part of the show
I began balancing on a ball, once I fall, everyone enjoys it
I get back up pretending it didn't hurt, although no one cares
They only come to see this, this show
Only for amusement, nothing more
If I were to go on the tight rope that is high above, and lose my balance
Not one will care, only he will
This act may not be fun, but if he likes it I will continue
He may not know my true feelings....but I hope he will soon
Until then, I continue to hide it behind this mask
This mask no one can see through

The hated clown no one loves
The clown only used to be a fool
I may not be able to smile, but if my loved one can because of me I will continue
