i raced upstairs, slamming the door behind me,
and screaming for my parents to leave me alone.
collapsing into my bed, tears streamed down
my cheeks, a furious expression pasted on my face.
looking out the window, i tried to calm down.
my parents slamming on the door, screaming for
me to come out, i closed my eyes. one by one,
small rays of light struck my eyelids.
opening my eyes, a glass disc was hovering outside
my window, it's pastel rays aimed at me. immediately
my parents' yelling was silenced, and flecks of pink
and blue glass darted around me, burying themselves
into my skin.
raising my arm to look at the effects, slowly my skin
started turning purple, my hair turning blue.
next thing i knew, i was one of them.
