I think we can all learn a bit from the legendary Kakuzō-san.


Anyways I hope you enjoy my latest dabble in a fairly common method of 16 bit contouring known as "Pillow Shading."

Based loosely on the Biker from Hotline Miami, a fantastic game.

I think that for this skin I would have used more of a hue-shift for colors. Don't get me wrong, this is about 200 times more creative than half of the skins I see on PMC. I'm just saying that for a game like Hotline Miami or for an 8-bit style I don't think the colors should be dulled out with an unsaturated shading.

Don't take this the wrong way. This is purely my opinion and constructive criticism. I just get a little excited when I see people with the potential to make great skins that are original too. :)
