This is my all time favorite character in the 1989 animated movie AKIRA.

What's the movie about you may ask, well;
In 1988 the Japanese government drops an atomic bomb on Tokyo after ESP experiments on children go awry. In 2019, 31 years after the nuking of the city, Kaneda, a bike gang leader, tries to save his friend Tetsuo from a secret government project. He battles anti-government activists, greedy politicians, irresponsible scientists and a powerful military leader until Tetsuo's supernatural powers suddenly manifest. A final battle is fought in Tokyo Olympiad exposing the experiment's secrets.

Now, I love Kaneda with all of my heart, in both the manga and movie

Especially the move.

So, seeing that there are barely any skins for AKIRA, I decided to be the one to make a set of the Capsule Gang along with other characters. Kaneda is just the start of it.

The leader of the Capsule Gang

Age: 16

Kaneda Shotaro is a young Japanese male standing at near average height with short black hair and dark brown eyes. His most notable feature is his attire appearing in the film that consists of a red leather military jacket that has a large design of a capsule on the back. He wears biker jeans that are similar in color to the inside of his jacket and dark red biker boots. On his hands, he wears red motorcycle gloves. Under his jacket, he wears a pink short-sleeved polo.

Kaneda Shotaro is portrayed as the main symbol of defiance against the traditional forms of authority, particularly Colonel Shikishima, being very rebellious and anarchic. His fellow bikers and classmates all describe him as being "egotistical", as he likes to show off in everything he does. He is known to act before thinking things through, which gets him into trouble several times. He also has an affinity to steal.

Beneath his tough and cocky exterior, Kaneda is brave, independent, and highly empathetic. He looks out for the safety and well-being of the members of his biker gang (most notably Tetsuo Shima) and becomes angry to the point of tears when he loses one of them. Kaneda values loyalty and becomes vengeful when trust is broken.
