The Knight, born a human in the bustling kingdom of Mushroom Cove.
Even at a very young age, the Knight always dreamed of joining the royal guard and protecting their beloved home.
And apart of the royal guard they became - rising through the ranks quickly due to their incredible speed and abition to to get stronger.



Unfortunately, the poor Knight was thrown straight into an era of war.
A horrible witch had opened the portal to the End, where the souls living in the dimension of the Void had been locked away for years.
Now, their cage had been broken, and in a fury, the souls of the Void invaded the land of humans.



All six kingdoms of the human realm united, and their leaders came to a solution:
They would gather their strongest fighters and send them through the portal, to defeat the Queen of the End. The Ender Dragon.
After defeating the Queen, the portal would be sealed back again, saving their kingdoms from even more destruction and loss.


The Knight, having been the second in command to the general of Mushroom Cove, was sent to join the special force where they would help defeat the Queen of the End.

The battle was brutally long and agonizing.

Out of the twenty-five brave soldiers who entered the End dimension, only one stood left.
The Knight.

Battered and exhausted, almost on the brink of collapsing, the Knight closed their eyes and tried to recall memories.
Memories of their home, of their loved ones, of all of the places they've visited, of their world.

Taking a deep breath in, the Knight opened their eyes. Breathing out, they dashed forwards.

Barely sliding under the tail of the Ender Dragon, the Knight took a mighty swing at its stomach.



A pale purple light erupted from the slash, blinding the Knight as the dragon roared one last time.

The light had faded and the Knight only saw the vast darkness of the Void.
Then two large figures gradually appeared in view.

One was cloaked in the dark velvet hues of the Void.
They had glowing nebulas for eyes and stardust dripping from the top of their head.
It was as if a piece of the galaxy was settled right in front of the little human.



The other was cloaked in a beautiful gradient of star light and sunny skies.

Their eyes were blazing stars, and their body made of sunshine.
A perfect foil to the other being next to them.

They both spoke in a sound unknown, but familar feelling, to the Knight.

Like the low humming of the dark expanse of space.



When the two beings fell silent, the one who embodied sunshine lowered a hand down to the small Knight.

The tiny human carefully climbed onto the outstretched hand, which gently started to lift.

The Knight was elevated up to the one who embodied the Void.

Without having been told anything, the Knight got down on one knee in respect.

The absolute energy and power radiating off of the two beings were of divine levels.

As the Knight bowed their head, the one made of Void gently pressed the tip of their stardust head to the Knight's.

Another pale light began to encompass the Knight.
As beams covered them, black masses of feathers began to appear behind and on top of the Knight.
And as the shining light grew, the two beings hummed a final goodbye.

When the Knight had awoken in the portal room, a heavy weight made them struggle to get up.

Looking behind them, the Knight saw two sets of large wings.
Their wings were nearly as tall as their body, and their feathers were as dark as the Void from the End.
Lifting their hands to their head, the Knight felt another set of wings on the side of their head.
How strange they felt, but at the same time, the wings felt sturdy and strong, like they were always meant to be there.

The Knight, no longer a human, returned back to the kingdoms of their realm a new being,
bringing news that the dragon was slayed, and that the portal was sealed once again.



The Knight continued to serve their home, and protect their world.

For centuries, the Knight would never age, outliving generations of monarchs and empires,
forever being a loyal knight protecting their home.
