So when I saw the Emotions skin contest, I knew I immediatly had to make a skin about this. But I wasn't sure how to do it. I didn't want to do just the generic teen girl skin, so I went with something different yet still relatable to teen culture nowadays.
Story
She seems fine. Every day she walks the halls of her school, the corridors of her house, the streets of her town. She seems okay. Her friends think nothing's wrong. On the outside, she's a normal girl. There's nothing that shows anything out of the ordinary. But no one knows what's inside. No one stops to ask if anything's wrong. She smiles brightly, she hides her pain, she tries to put a sparkle in her eyes to disguise her sorrow. She hurries through the day, nothing is important to her anymore. Before she knows it, she's home. She dumps her schoolbag and rushes inside her room. There the pain is, drowning her in sadness, enveloping her in the misery that she's so used to now. Inside, her sadness is a hooded black cloak, imprisoning her, trapping her in this depression. Her eyes are bright blue sparks, but her face is a weary blue. She sighs. She wishes she could end it all. She takes a noose, wraps it around her neck. The scars on her wrists tell a story of their own. And again, as always, the tears flood the room. ~~
Explanation
Basically, I decided to make a skin of a girl, but twisted it to make it unique. The black hooded cloak represents the sadness that she's so used to, she wears it as a second skin. The shorts and sneakers represent what was once a ordinary girl. The paper with the happy face signifies how she hides behind a mask of happiness to appear normal to everyone else, leading them to believe nothing's wrong. The noose shows her suicidal urges. I drew up a few concept drawings and this was based partially on some of my feelings.
A little message
Also, I'd just like to say something about this. If you ever feel this way sometimes, I can tell you now, suicide is never the answer. Talk to someone who you trust, find help, seek counseling. Don't suffer alone. Things will get better. You have your whole life ahead of you. You're amazing, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Please diamond if you like it! Hope you enjoyed it.

are amazing because so many other people just don't care and they let us cry until our hearts stop beating.
