Sugarbun didn't exactly invent this shading style. :p There are many skinners who used this style, such as Katy_Love, MyMagic, etc. Silverstream has probably been making skins maybe just as long as Sugarbun has. I think maybe why it stands out to you is simply because Silverstream is the only girl skinner who uses this style anymore.
