“Who are you?”
A: Deirdre Catherwood, circus snake charmer. It's nice to meet you.
“Where were you at the time of Mr. Fontaine’s death?”
A: Oh, at my booth. I'm always on the clock since Ives says my act is so popular. In fact, there was a nice crowd when you showed up, detective.
”Are you in any way connected to Mr. Fontaine?”
A: Now, I'm gonna say yes, but I really didn't know him that well. He used to come by my booth occasionally, make some small talk, say the snakes reminded him of his ex-wife, heh! Kind sort of guy, but a little emotionally wound-up.
“Do you have any other information you’d like to share at this time?”
A: Hm. Real fast, before anyone goes running their mouths, I'd like to clarify that my snakes did not kill that man. I'm sure Rania will say that because she hates them, but they're truly little angels! Especially Mozzie, he'd never hurt a fly-!
