Here is a gnome, an earth spirit and protector of nature. It is said that if treated respectfully, they guide miners to veins with rich ores, or guide the lost ones out of the mines, but when treated disrespectfully, they play pranks, ranging from throwing small rocks at miners, to destroying an entire village with a landslide. They live underground, and protect the plants and animals...

Gnomes are also a very good garden decoration!!!
