Got scammed into giving away my Steam account, so had to change my Minecraft skin from the one from my steam profile picture because that skin is now attached to my old steam account. :/ RIP (I like that profile picture, so I'll keep if for now because I made it, they stole my art and account! But, for now, I'll use a different Minecraft skin until I get this issue resolved, so I'm not reminded of my mistake every time I play Minecraft.)
Don't fall for this scam! They'll message you on discord saying they accidentally reported your account, and if you follow their steps it will transfer your account to them and then they'll use your old account to scam others. :_(

At this point, my heart rate went up, and I stopped thinking straight. If you get a message like this, take a step back and calm down. Breathe in, breathe out. You'll be fine as long as you don't freak out.
I did the dumb thing and followed all of the steps given by KellyT#3901, thinking them to be from Steam Support.
After they took my account, they wanted money. I didn't give it to them, so they said they'd 'delete my account'... Well, they didn't delete it they just stole it. -_-
If you get messaged by someone you do NOT know, don't listen to them. They're a stranger, and likely a scammer. And do not listen to instructions from someone claiming to be some kind of tech support. (Looking back, I was really dumb. :/)
Also, don't click on links that might be sus.
