Mount Hellfire and its fortress had always been a tempting target for many heroes and adventurers; legends spoke of vast amounts of gold and diamonds kept on the mountain inside the fortress, and fearsome dragons guarding the summit. After the Mage-Dragon War and the disappearance of dragons, many flocked to the mountain expecting to claim its treasures.

They were late.

Now the stories told of a horrifying warrior, half-dragon, half-man, whose blood had been infused with dragon magic in the war,  slaying all who dared approach Mount Hellfire. Neither sword nor bow could harm him, and the words "I am Aemon, lord of Mount Hellfire, slayer of heroes. Turn back now or perish!" were the last thing many a hero had heard before being sent to the grave.

The King sent his Iron Golems across the realm, spreading the word of Mount Hellfire and offering a large bounty, as well as the riches of Mount Hellfire, to anyone who could bring him Aemon's head. They had no luck, until one day, on a road near Renna's Well, a young man stopped an Iron Golem, asking for the bounty letter.



"I'll take the bounty and bring you Aemon's head", said Steve.
