Arcanus, the Awakened Savage

A long forgotten immortal warrior who was legendary for his skill with a greatsword with which he has no equal. Arcanus is a powerful, 8'3" 317 lb, broad-shouldered man. His skin is stained black from overexposure to smoke and dark oak tree-sap. He is the carrier of an extremely rare disease that makes his blood and veins glow like lava nothing more. He wears full-body armor to shield himself from the public's eyes, and rarely ever takes it off. He is he son of Sir Ernest Delarius, leader of the Iron Table (the King's personal guard), and Marriath Whitethorn, an elven maiden.

       Arcanus lead the fight out of Hell alongside the great angel, Sabathiel. Sabathiel gave Arcanus the power to turn into a massive elemental beast, a magma-golem. When Arcanus transformed, he was filled with a burst of adrenaline and rage. A demon rushed to strike him down, but Arcanus clasped the demon's throat and its shoulder, and threw the demon's body clockwise and its head counterclockwise severing it. A loud resonating horn roared through the endless caverns of Hell. A rally call, the demons turned and ran toward our charge. Arcanus picked up the demon's sword and charged head on into the endless hordes of demons. Now with mighty greatsword in hand, one fell swoop and he could send the enemy flying.

       When they emerged from Hell, Arcanus stood with poise among the dead. He slowly looked down upon himself, several spears and swords had penetrated his igneous armor-like hide. A few pierced his heart. Sabathiel approached him with a look of sadness. Arcanus smiled with pride and turned human once again, swords and spears still within him. He sat down atop his throne of corpses and with a great explosion of light encased the throne and himself in stone using the last of his power. The statue stands guard at the gates of Hell, protecting the people of Bannor from Hell forever.
