Aventure Fox

Foxes are mammalian and omnivorous animals belonging to the Canidae family. They are medium sized vulpids, characterized by a composite focus and a long, hairy tail. It also presented its oval pupils, similar to the vertical pupils of felids.

Of about 40 species recognized as foxes, only 12 belong to the Vulpes genus of "true foxes", qualifying the red fox as the most common.

Like South American foxes, despite being canids, they do not belong to the Vulpes genus. For this reason, biologically, "false foxes" are used. Its genus is called Pseudalopex (pseud = false // alopex = fox). The popular name was attributed to foxes because of their similarity, both physical and behavioral, to foxes in the Northern Hemisphere.

There are more than 30 different species of fox.
