A Jojo's reference was not even remotely the original intent - in fact, this was meant to be a knight (think Radriar) with a full helmet (derived from the earlier 「𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐆𝐄𝐓 𝐌𝐔𝐂𝐇 𝐒𝐋𝐄𝐄𝐏 𝐋𝐀𝐒𝐓 𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓」) rather than a mask, but it went horribly and I resolved to restart the knight skin. That knight skin became Vanguard Vermilion.
As for this skin - well - I had the front face and a purple cloak left over and had the desire to make it work, but none of the drive to make it happen. I defaulted to my good friend, muscle (thus bringing us to the Pillarmen reference), but this skin remained unfinished til just now.
Even having finished it, I wish I had been more ambitious with my palettes. Oh well, done > perfect.
Shoutout to GingerPie's Cloak Man. Really well-done, gave me inspiration a-plenty for the cloak. Similar influence went into Applebottom John for the PBL.
