Ok so heres the story. Went to make a skin. Failed. Tried again. Another Fail. One more time and got this.

First off, try to make the hair less gradient. It makes the shading look pretty unrealistic of you do a full gradient kind of effect.
Also, try and work on practicing with hue shifting and and shading. I can recommend some good tutorials here:
