What mike just said was not at all an update, but it was just a declarative sentence, stating that he forgot to do some important editing. If he wanted to put something related to that, he could say "I did some important editing." Not "I... may forgot to do some important editing" because saying that doesn't mean you updated it. If it WAS updated, this still would apply, because many people won't know that it was updated, and doing such would actually give Mike a higher chance of getting flagged from the "Update Log Abuse" selection.
