So I'm entering a comment of sorts, and the theme is Medieval Fantasy... but... I'm not so into the theme of Medieval fantasy, and honestly have little interest in that period, save the myths, legends and... superstitions.
I looked up a bunch of themes and ideas, and settled on this since I thought it'd be funny. It's based on the back luck of having a black cat crossing your path... that and the association of a black cat approaching you bringing good luck, and one leaving taking it away. Also, if you aren't a cat person, you can pretend your kicking a small kitty twain.
You know, it was said that in Medieval times DIAMONDS (And FAVORITES) were said to ward off evil spirits and bad luck. (Even though we know from mining that Diamonds draw the attention of every do-badder monster and icky to wreck your shit) But let's pretend this is peaceful mode. :)
