Some of The Galactic Republic's finest warriors, clone commandos were elite clone troopers who displayed exceptional amounts of teamwork, weapons handling, communication, and combat skills, and were chosen out of the regular clone Army. Some were also other non-clone humans. Trained in the tactics of unconventional warfare, commandos were taught to work cohesively as a team to accomplish their goals rather than one soldier having to do all the work, instilling a strong bond of friendship and trust between squad members. These elite soldiers work behind the enemy's front lines, primarily sabotaging enemy assets or killing high value targets, along with undertaking various other covert special operations missions that ordinary clone troopers could not accomplish.
