Bolg was an Orc Chieftain and warrior in the novel and films "The Hobbit". The spawn of the sinister Gundabad orc Azog the Defiler, he led an army of orcs into battle during the Battle of the Five Armies. In the films, he is both son and second in command of Azog and servant of the Dark Lord- Sauron, who at the time is disguised as the Necromancer of Dol Guldur.
