i did indeed post, and its an entry for the 3rd round of the skindex/skinmakers’ olympics! that was the skindex link, but here is the pmc link to SO.

ofc, i would like to make it clear that this is NOT an official character from the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. This is basically simply a made-up OC “within“ the Harry Potter universe. I would neither consider her to be a hero, nor a villain. She’s more of a background character, but in her own story, I guess you could say she’s the hero because she could face her bullies. :)

I hope it still counts, and that you can accept my entry and her storyline! Excluding the skin itself, I spent at least over an hour on just some of the story aspects alone. I know it might not seem like that much time, I put lots of effort into it!

) background: Cerulean comes from a muggle background. However, her family raised her to be able to distinguish what is ethical and what is unjust. She had no siblings, but her parents were always loving towards her. Back when she attended regular muggle school, she had little to no encounters with bullies, making it a surprise to get bullied at Hogwarts. However, Cerulean has refined adaptation skills due to having to shift houses whilst growing up, so she was able to adapt. Due to being raised with such kind parents, she had confidence in herself, making it easier to deal with bullies at Hogwarts. She became outspoken due to having good communication with her parents, and she was always being encouraged by her parents to express herself when there was a lack of justice around her. When she was presented with the opportunity to go to Hogwarts, her family supported her, despite it being tough to let her go there. Cerulean was a great student, and stayed that way throughout her student journey at Hogwarts. Throughout her time in Hogwarts (and onwards), Cerulean remained in contact with her parents.

) personality: bold, outspoken, confident, smart, though these things could lead to trouble. her anger is more of a “cool” anger, but it can be intimidating. she is able to face obstacles that threaten her, and she can adjust to her situations. she can be kind to others, but is able to stand up for herself if needed. she remains determined with whatever she does, and strongly believes in justice and acting ethically. when she’s on her own or with friends, she likes to do lighthearted things like drawing.

) role: first year student. background character who is the hero/protagonist in her own story (faced her bullies).

) time period: first attended hogwarts 15 years after the events that occurred in the main Harry Potter series by JK Rowling.

) strengths: presentations, tasting unfamiliar foods, transfiguration, and doing the right thing gives her happiness
) weaknesses: her personality can get her in trouble at times. she also gets extremely freaked out by potions
) likes: transfiguration, friends (though she can be alone), CATS AND BEARS, drawing in her journal, trying different foods
) dislikes: soggy socks (Thank you @Eleanorrose for this fantastic idea), bullies, gossip

) a significant story (something that happened to her during her time at hogwarts, and how she dealt with the situation):

when she initially arrived at hogwarts, even though she was aware that there were other muggles, she still feared being mistreated. her dyed hair made her stand out at hogwarts, which was not deliberate on her end. despite not being accustomed to being thrown into the spotlight solely for a thing she considered to not be too crucial, she adjusted her attitude according to her situation, embracing her difference. though it took time to build up her confidence, she finally was not afraid to stand out, and she could handle participating in activities. she often would be with a few friends in ravenclaw, but being alone did not bother her, so she could keep to herself easily. however, her outspoken nature and comfort with herself led to trouble, especially while she was alone. she hadn’t dealt with bullies in hogwarts, merely having experience with people staring as she minded her own business. however, she soon became a target to bullying, catching the attention of a group of bullies from her class. She would brush off any insults because she knew that happiness and confidence was derived from herself, not the approval of others, but still was bothered that she was being attacked just for her looks, so she one day retaliated through telling a teacher. though her outspokenness tried to urge and convince her to just tell the bullies off, she controlled herself, knowing that saying something could easily backfire. when the teacher had a discussion with the other kids, the bullying stopped. she enjoyed the glory, but not for long, as two weeks later, the same bullies would indirectly attack her. whether they were just strategically hiding her belongings or even tearing pages from her journal due to knowing she took work seriously, Cerulean found that she had to be extra cautious about her actions. Sometimes, they hurled accusations at her and framed her. this led her to be quite paranoid, always scanning the zone to ensure there would be no potential harm. her friends had stopped hanging out with her, afraid that they would fall victim to the bullies. Betrayed, she sought to find a way to put an end to the bullying. Another week went by. One day, she devised a simple plan, determined that the bullying couldnt carry on any longer. She would confront the bullies in the hallways, whilst in the presence of a teacher. She had formed an arrangement with the one teacher who didn’t doubt her, whom the bullies had not tricked or influenced. Cerulean requested for the teacher to remain visible to her, but not visible to the bullies. This ensured that if anything went wrong, she had the support of a teacher. Finally, the moment had come. The bullies walked in nonchalantly, heading towards the backpack that she had left on the floor as a bait. This would prove to the teacher that those bullies would actually mess with her possessions. When the bullies did something, Cerulean whipped around and was finally able to unleash her thoughts that she had held back. As she went on, her composed fury more intimidating than ever, the bullies could do nothing but stare at her, gaping. The main bully finally made a signal to the others to just run while Cerulean was distracted with speaking. As they swiftly dashed off, they realized they had made an enormous mistake. They were greeted with the sight of a tall teacher looking down at them in disappointment, as the teacher had known what had happened. The bullies were given the taste of justice and had to face the consequences of what they had done. At long last, Cerulean could finally be tranquil at hogwarts without worrying about that band of students mistreating her.

as i stated earlier: this is NOT an official character from the Harry Potter series by JK Rowling. This is basically simply a made-up OC “within“ the Harry Potter universe.

i wrote part of the personality before figuring out the patronus, then i wrote some other bits after figuring out the patronus. some of the personality traits i listed are inspired by the patronus. the wand core & wood were based on her personality, and i also added something to the personality after looking at the wand info. i believe that fir for the wand wood was perfect for my character. one of the strengths was from the info about wand woods. fir seems to excel in transfiguration, so i made transfiguration one of Cerulean’s strengths. :)

also, i apologize about the length and everything of the story! i hope it all makes sense though. also, i tried my best to not make Cerulean overly cliche or a “mary sue” or anything! :)
