As you might be aware (you definitely will if you're on Birb's Discord server..), over the past six months or so, there has been a lot on my mind. Some good, some bad, but I often find myself in a bit of a pensive state about an era that I missed. For a long time I couldn't put I finger on it but I think I have it figured out now.
I want to go back to 2020-2022, arguably the golden age of Skindex and the MC skin community as a whole.
Now, obviously it's 2024 and I can't really do that, but I've thought of something that will help. bring me back to that era. As you can see, I've switched to a more pastel colour palette, which of course was very popular around that time.
Honestly I wasn't a fan of my previous style anyway. There was way too much contrast, which hurt my eyes. I think this new style looks a lot better, and I'm sure you'll agree!

On a serious note, I do feel like I've missed a golden era by joining this site and the skinning comunity so late. There were so many cool events going on in 2020, 2021, and 2022, and I do wish I could go back and experience them. And most of all, I would have done a certain thing that some other skinners did up until September 2022 ;) (this is a very niche reference, why am I even saying it lol)
