The Royal Hong Kong Police Force is the primary law enforcement, investigation agency, and largest disciplined service for Hong Kong. On July 1st, 1997, the Royal Hong Kong Police was revered back to the Hong Kong Police Force after 156 years of British colonial administration upon transfer of sovereignty to the People's Republic of China from the United Kingdom.
