Colour, everywhere we look, night or day we see it. It is apart of us and who we are. But have you ever wondered who gave us colour? Well, your about to find out.
Story:
Once there was no colour, it was dim, dark, boring. Emotions were non existant, and everyone was the same. People did not care about anything. Until the day. A young girl, whom was cared for by many of the villagers, and was the first to help people begin to see emotion and love, was alone, swiming in the dull grey water. Still, dark, lifeless... She decided to swim out far but she was caught by the current and pulled out to sea, never to be seen again... The people of her village gathered at the beach to moan her loss. As they were remembering that girl, tears started to flow from their eyes. They flowed into the sea were the girl had been swept away into. And slowly with each tear, the water began to turn blue, the colour of sadness. For they had lost her. But what they didn't know was that she wasn't dead... just... sleeping. When the colours reached the girl, her eyes opened, her body a flush with all the colours we know and see today. She rose from the ocean floor too see the ocean a flush with blue, blue and more blue. Her tears of joy made it even more blue. She hurried to land where her emotions of happiness gave the world, yellow, orange, pink, teal and green. But as her emotions where colouring the world, her, herself was turning, grey, dull and lifeless once again, with the emotions of tear, anger and depression she gave us, purple, and red. As she accepted that this would not change she decided to lock herself away... The people of the land now felt, and saw the wonders of colour and life and the girl herself was dubbed the "Goddess Of Colour" for bringing it to the world.
