Cell is an android created by Doctor Gero of the Red Ribbon Army for the sole purpose of defeating and killing Goku. His second goal is to become "Perfect" by absorbing Androids 17 and 18. At this stage, he has already absorbed 17 and is hunting down 18 who is hiding with android 16.
