At the time, everybody in Greece knew about and believed in the great and powerful gods. Many would give offerings in their names, to appease the mighty watchers of the land. Some were nice, some were most definitely not. For the sake of amusement some gods would toil with humans; but not Chersis, the god of Patience. Many gods saw humans as a plague upon the beautiful Earth they oversaw. They could not believe that humans could be anything more than a primitive, cruel race incapable of emotions such as compassion and understanding (hypocrisy, right?). Chersis believed that someday humans would stop hurting the land and live as won without war and crime. Time has passed. Still, we have not changed much.
Still, he waits.
Still, he waits.
