When I was little my brother introduced me to runescape and it was the first video game I ever played (besides bugdum).
Although I haven't played in years, I can still foggily remember what my character looked like. She was my hero and I played for years with her (vase369 and cataf36 , i had two accounts over the couse of that time) and I got so much stuff and was so overpowered :D After looking back on runescape then, I can see how far the graphic in video games has come. Although I will most likely never play runescape again, it was a very important time in my life
