Gotta go fast! Speeding through the Green Hill is Sonic the Hedgehog in all his blue glory. This chubby chuck can spin into a ball powerful enough to destroy metal! He can also spin dash. A spin dash is when he revs up and blasts off when ready. There is also the peel-out. Sonic jogs on the ground, charging up to end up speeding off at an incredible speed. Lastly, there is the Insta shield. Sonic spin jumps and when needed, a shield appears around him for a split second, destroying any obstacle nearby and letting him be invincible if timed right. This hedgehog with attitude has carried on his series. Classic, dreamcast, modern, and boom were his changes. In this skin, he is Classic Sonic. Everyones favorite, blue, hedgehog.

Sonic the Hedgehog originated on the Sega Genesis / Mega Drive. Oddly, his in game palettes were very saturated. The goal of his first game was to defeat Dr. Ivo. Robotnik while he tried to collect the Chaos Emeralds. The Chaos Emeralds were six mystic gems that could grant colossal power, stop pollution, and can somewhat power machines. Dr. Robotnik wanted to abuse their power to mechanize the world and make what he addresses as "Eggman Land." To prevent Sonic from getting the Chaos Emeralds first, Robotnik forced animals to pilot robots called Badniks. The Badniks had names, such as, the Moto bug, the Buzz Bomber, the Newtron, the Chopper, the Crabmeat, you name it. Each Badnik species had a name. At the end of each zone, there was a capsule that Sonic had to open by pressing it's button to released the captured animals. At the end of each act, he would spin a signpost so that his face is on it, and if fifty rings are collected, there is a special stage to collect a Chaos Emerald. At the end of the game, Sonic reunites the Chaos Emeralds so he can make the world normal again, and then for the finally, he strikes a pose, and then the credits roll. That was the first Sonic game ever!
