The Cobalt Mage is a mage involved with a secret brotherhood, they are sworn to secrecy and never speak to outsiders. Some say Cobalt Mages know dark secrets others could not be able to comprehend.
So the part on the back of his head that you can see through is not there when you use the skin,
it just loads wrong for some reason.
