Switched over to Java from Legacy edition, naturally I used my favorite skin from the edition (tuxedo Steve).

Around the same time I watched and fell in love with Alejandro Gonzalez's The Revenant, especially loving the look and style of the Colonial period and the rugged fur coat Di Caprio wore for the film.
I incorporated this love into Minecraft. Downloading mods like Minecolonies, ewewukek's musket mod, Snow real magic, and tough as nails. I mainly played on a 1.18 snowy taiga world at a point. Etc.

This experience had satiated my love, only that my skin was not enough.

I wore TaN's wool helmet everywhere, mainly for the look of the hood. Even with the lacking durability (with unbreaking 3)
I downloaded Grim dark's armor for the re textured light leather armor, and paired this with Cosmetic armor reworked.

This trio, Tuxedo Steve, TaN's wool hood, and Grim Dark's leather armor stewed together to set in this skin's idea.

And hence, after a full week of procrastination, and a few hours of work. I introduce you to my first custom skin. Colonialist Tuxedo Steve.
A brown fur hooded coat, wool trimmings, with remnants of his tuxedo. I feel as if I had done a great job with my first.

note: You can use the skin without the overlays if you don't like the added details too much. it's a really cool accidental feature.
