This is for the Circus Characters Skin Contest, and the character I made was Cynthia The Soul Mistress. She's supposed to be a clown, but a tradgic (is that what they're called?) clown. Her story is that when she was young, her parents died because of a war. This happened when she was 14. At least by then, she knew how to take care of herself. She had to go to an orphanage, of course, but rarely let the people there take care of her. The day she turned 16, she felt like she needed some space. As she was walking down the street, she saw a glimmering object in the alleyway. She headed in that direction, and slipping into the alleyway, picked up the object.Glass.A shard of glass.As she threw it down on the ground, it sliced her finger. When the blood splattered on the ground, a shadow slid from the drop. It slashed her face, and as she cried out with pain, the injury sealed up, leaving a mark on her face. The shadow whispered as it dissapeared "Do what I tell you to do. . ." I never heard the rest. What the shadow whispered in her ear is unknown to anyone but Cynthia, but from that day she's been a tradgic clown in the circus. And she never once showed any interest in circuses, much less clowns. I wonder what the shadow whispered to her. Obviously it was a contract of some sort, for Cynthia never once left the circus. Ever.
