for the desert skin contest,
i made a sandman clothed in
arenaceous fabric. its clothes not
only allow it to camouflage into its
surroundings, but also provide
protection from the beating sun
and the harsh conditions of
the desert. it also has ropes
around its limbs and waist
and beady red eyes, providing
effect and detail to the skin.
the red eyes also give
the sandman a demonic look and
would allow it to see farther and find
potential prey easier. lastly, the
ropes portray the sandman
as a savage, living off the
limited resources of the desert.
overall, the sandman would
be able to thrive in a
desert environment due
to its camouflaged clothing
and magnifying eyes.
