Sorry, it's a bug that has haunted the site since the beginning. I know it's extremely annoying and ridiculous that it's still around but it is true that it will be squished once the new forums are launched. We are aiming for June to launch the new forums so while it's been FOREVER, it really is close.

How am I supposed to have fun making a skin that's 90% tentacles and a palette consisting of green and dark green and other depressing colors?

It's not that the community is dying or anything, it's just that 75% of people didn't understand or like the theme enough to post their entry.

Taterman wants to wait until Saturday morning to post our skins.
