Undergrove Youngling

Entry for Dandelionss The Undergrove palette skin contest

This youngling loves to sing, badly, which she enthusiastically demonstrated for me. Her ears which I first thought to be mere decoration are indeed those of a cat (in her words "23 generation cat to be precise") and move constantly as she strolls through the Undergrove catching the scuffles of smaller creatures disturbed by her song vocalisations. These poor critters are scooped up, recorded in a small pocket book and replaced, somewhat ruffled and slightly stunned, but otherwise unharmed.

She asked that I inform any others that may visit the Undergrove not to attempt to pat her, as she carries the claws of her ancestors along with the ears, and she doesn't wish to harm anyone but will do so if disrespected in such a manner.
