Ducal Guard

The Ducal Guard stands, alongside the Glarbor Elite Guard, as one of the oldest warrior orders sworn to defend the Duchy. In Glarbor, it is said that the Infantry is the backbone of the army, the Elite Guard its heart, and the Ducal Guard its head.


Entrusted with the protection of every vital part of the Duchy’s cities, these guards safeguard key buildings, roads, and gates. In times of war, they lead the infantry into battle with valor, commanding countless battalions under the ducal banner.


They form the very core of the Duchy’s defense. While the Elite Guard protects its heart, and the Infantry crushes any threat to ducal sovereignty, the Ducal Guard watches over the land—ceaselessly, and without rest.
