An Emu is a flightless bird in Australia. It contributes to the desert because most of them live in the Australian Outback, a arid desert. Arid means ''dry'' is you didn't know. The Emu has no wings, and can have either 2 colored feathers: Black or Brownish-grayish. I put the skin black because it kind of looks badass and I also put arms so it can have more of a ''pazazz''. Emus lay about 10-12 eggs that are either black or dark green. It takes 5 months for the pregnancy to end. Emus usually mate in January and December. Technically summer for Australians. Emus can hiss aparentlly, and can also be farmed. The Emu is also shown on Australia's Cote of Arms. I picked an Emu because it can be considered a desert animal and it looks cute.
(It would be sweet for some support, if you want to. Man we learned a lot today! Like Discovery Channel :) )
