The fleet-footed Fastbak is a New God of Supertown—a member of a race of legendary beings from a dimension above the DC Multiverse. By tinkering with his aero-pads, he's unlocked the ability to travel at tremendous speeds, even once outpacing the Black Racer and a phalanx of Darkseid's dread parademons to save his friend Esak. But after being struck by a vortex cannon weilded by the Apoklips War Dogs, the speedster woke up within the reaches of the Throneworld Empire, and taken prisoner by it's despotic then-ruler, Jediah Rikane.
Together with Jack Knight and Mikaal Tomas, along with other allies from the stars, he'd return Throneworld to its rightful rulers.
