Please bear with me the Glacians history is quite long for a pmc skin to hold >.<
Long ago the Glacians lived alongside the dwarves. The Dwarves controlled the mountains and such, while the Glacians controlled area close by. They both enjoyed the cold climate and a period of coexistence was there for awhile. Of course during this time the Glacians weren't Glacians but were part of the human race. But sadly the coexistence between the dwarves and humans didn't last. It ended on the day the dwarves found iron. The dwarves saw their chance at becoming stronger and took it quickly. They attacked the Glacians with there now superior weapons and drove them out. The Glacians split into 3 major groups the North, the South, and the Middle. The North Tribe fled to the northern pole and at the farthest point found the Ocean Glaci a large arctic ocean surrounded by a large expanse of frozen wasteland. The South Tribe fled to the southern pole and at its farthest point found Articin a large frozen and barren land with a few mountainous regions. The Middle tribe stayed human and their history is long forgotten. The North and South tribes quickly began the race to survive in their new homelands. They quickly adapted and prospered but they didn't see how far they would adapt. As the years and decades passed they started changing as a strange power flowed into them. Their skin began to turn pale and became as white as the ice they lived in. Even their hair and eyes began to change, light colors began to dominate and dark colors became rare. Also their bodies stopped feeling warm, as if they just stopped producing heat and instead let off a cold feeling and they welcomed al the changes freely as it brought them closer to the cold they so loved. Then they discovered the biggest change. In the North a member of the tribe was out hunting alone with a single spear in his hands. While out he was attacked by a Polar Bear and in his panic to escape he threw his spear and missed. The bear attacked him as he ran, thus tearing up his legs leaving him bleeding on the floor. As the man bled out on the ground he was startled to see the bear tower over him. But that only lasted for a second as his focused return as it reared up to deliver the final strike. The man as his life flashed before his eyes felt a strange tug on his gut as if there was a hidden power and so as the bear swung down ready to kill he swung his arm at the bear in a desperate attempt to live and the power answered. The ice moved and turned into a spike as it impaled the bear, killing it. The man amazed at what he did collapsed from sheer exhaustion and blood loss. His friends soon found him and that is when the entire North Tribe discovered what they now become. The South discovered it too but they discovered it while building their villages. The North and South now knew they were no longer humans and thus gave themselves a new name, they were now Glacians. With these new powers they discovered a very special type of ice that rivaled metals in every way and couldn't melt. Then after decades of using their new found powers and weaponry they grew into kingdoms. The North Tribe became the democratic Glacik Empire and the South Tribe became the monarch Artik Empire. Now the two empires had explored all of their homelands and decided it was time to go beyond and explore the areas of their origin. Their explorations quickly brought them back in contact with the dwarves. But they decided quickly to stay hidden from the other races. But as they got closer to the equator the temperatures got warmer. They disliked the heat very much and found that they were able to control the temperature around them within a 2 meter radius and used this to make the warm area more comfortable for them. They also found that they could summon ice along their bodies but seldom used it as the ice was weak. As the Glacik and Artik exploration teams got to the middle they finally met. Their reunion wasn't good as centuries of separation changed their cultures and languages completely. They tried to communicate with each other but with their ancestral language long forgotten it was near impossible. They soon began fighting and it broke out into a full blown civil war. The fighting lasted for years and in the end left their world population less than half of what it once was. At this point they returned to their homelands to recover and didn't leave for awhile and were left alone in their isolated homelands. They were never discovered by the rest of Dreya as the cold temperatures were too cold for any of the other races to survive for long without protection. Only the dwarves dared to explore deep into the frozen lands. Few dwarves came back and those who did were thought to have gone insane as they would talk of men who controlled ice as if it was part of them. The Glacians remained a myth for a long time. They then decided to explore the rest of Dreya again and this time they weren't going to remain hidden. They founded the modern Glactik kingdoms. Though the war is long behind them the hatred between the people of the two empires is still there and it runs high.
One of my friends made this race and I simply adore Glacians I hope you all like them as much as I do XD
They are ice people who wear clothes only to not be nude XD
note the color of the skin is normally a blueish white but i failed with that part >.>
