First Arcanist Thalyssra - WoM #7
First Arcanist Thalyssra is the leader of the nightfallen rebellion against the nightborne of Suramar, who have allied with the Burning Legion and stand on the precipice of an irreversible and calamitous decision. She was once a close advisor of Grand Magistrix Elisande, but was betrayed by Advisor Melandrusduring an attempted coup d'état and was exiled as a nightfallen. Now, she is caught up in a deadly race to save her people from their grievous error before she succumbs completely to the mindless state of a withered. She later succeeds, becoming the new leader of the Nightborne following the events of the Nighthold raid. Through a cordial alliance with the blood elves of Silvermoon, Thalyssra eventually swore Suramar's allegiance to the Horde, seeking to reclaim her people's place in Azeroth.
