As lots of you probably know, I use the Skindex editor for my skins! This time I decided to FINALLY try out PMC's editor, and this skin was the result! I really like how golden the hair turned out, I usually go for a more pale blonde but this palette seemed to fit the Christmas theme better.

hmm I think the skindex editor can be very limiting in terms of finding the right colors & shading palettes, especially with hue-shifting, whereas PMCSkin3D lets you adjust the hue, saturation, and value with more precision.

I think overall, the skindex editor is much easier & quicker to use, but with PMCSkin3D, and with good technique, you can make higher quality skins than with the skindex. So PMCSkin3D is a bit of a pain to use, but the end result is much better!

Thanks! It was definitely not easier than the Skindex, since it has a lot more features and is a lot more complex. But I think because of those features, it allows you to make better skins! Once I get used to it, I think my PMCSkin3D skins will be better than my Skindex ones, we'll see though!

I enjoyed being able to individually adjust saturation, hue, & value- with the Skindex editor all those are adjusted only on the color square, which is a bit less precise. I think from now on I'll probably use both editors, depending on how much time/detail I want to put into the skin!
